How it works
The scent travels with the AC air.
The unit turns fragrance oil into an ultra-fine mist and feeds it into the AC duct. The AC fan carries it to every room and corridor, so the scent spreads evenly — without a diffuser in every space.
01Turns oil into mistA diaphragm pump drives air through the atomiser head, releasing the oil as ultra-fine particles that are carried on the air and, according to the manufacturer, leave no residue on surfaces.
02Enters with the AC airThe mist tube links the unit to the AC duct via a small Φ12 mm connector — no changes to the AC system.
03Reaches everywhereThe AC fan distributes the scent to every vent, so the whole building shares the same scent at the same intensity.

Written for engineers and HVAC technicians, based on the manufacturer’s manual. Installation needs no changes to the AC system and usually takes under an hour.
Unit components
Before you start
- Injection point: the return-air duct before the air handling unit, or the supply duct right after it, depending on the building design.
- A hole in the duct to fit the Φ12 mm quick connector (included).
- A nearby power socket: the unit runs on the included 12V / 2A adapter and draws just 20 W.
- A stable, dry spot: the unit must stand level and must not be tipped or tilted while filled with oil.
- The shortest possible tube between the unit and the injection point, so the mist arrives at full strength.
- Match the schedule to the AC: set the unit’s working times to match the AC fan’s running times.

The unit has two separate scent systems (A and B), each with its own bottle, screen and switch. One bottle is enough for mid-size spaces; for large ones both bottles run together. Move the slider and see.

Engineers’ FAQ
Where is the best injection point?
Usually in the return-air duct before the air handling unit (AHU), so the fan mixes the scent and distributes it evenly. It can also go in the supply duct right after the unit. It depends on the building design — our team identifies the right point during the visit.
Does it affect the AC system or filters?
The quantity is very small (4 g per hour at most) and the mist is ultra-fine. According to the manufacturer, the particles don’t stick to surfaces. The unit needs no changes to the AC system beyond the connector hole.
Does it work when the AC is off?
It runs, but the scent won’t spread without the AC fan. That’s why you should match its working times to the AC’s running times.
Can I use two different scents?
Yes. Each bottle has its own system, screen and programmes, so you can set one scent for mornings and another for evenings, or run both bottles with the same scent for large spaces.
Building larger than 5,000 m²? What then?
We install several units across the different air handling units, each controlled from the app via Bluetooth or from its own panel.
What does the warranty cover?
A 2-year Mr. Scents warranty against manufacturing defects, plus scheduled maintenance contracts for businesses.
A hotel, mall or office building project?
We visit, assess the AC system and recommend the right number of units and scents, with a maintenance contract.
